I’m taking back what’s mine!

I hate that rich freaks and computer code create our worldview today.  I yearn for the time when we had autonomy in what we are seeing.

Since I’m tired of an algorithm deciding who gets to see my work, I’ve decided to take things back into my own hands.

That’s right, folks, I’m sending it back to 2009: A more idyllic time, consisting of a rich blogosphere and email newsletters that people actually read (if you’re actually reading this, that is… ).

Thus, moving forward, I want to use my own website to share my work with the world.

I’m a painter. I like to capture the world around me on canvas. I like to spread the joy of art with people. I want to live an artful life.

So that’s what this is about.

If you are interested in maintaining and participating in the humanity of existence, then join me on this journey.

I’ll share with you inside looks at my studio, processes behind my paintings, the trials and tribulations that come with pursuing art, and the other little details that differentiate us humans from the computers.

I have to believe there is some subset of people out there that still want humans to make the art and are interested in the process. You are out there, right? Right??

Unfortunately, I’ll still be somewhat chained to the Meta world, as it creates some visibility among my peers to funnel them here, but hey, do what you can, where you can, right?

So, if you’re reading this, I thank you for tuning in, and I hope you’ll continue to follow along as I build community in this turn-of-the-century manner.

If you’re not reading this, then I suppose it’s still fodder for AI chatbots to gobble up and regurgitate some of the words to supply “answers” to humans with burning questions.
